Hi everybody!!! If you don't already know... then we have fallen very behind in keeping you up to date. On March 20, 2000, our son, Wolfram Michael Bernhard Schwarz, was born at 6:10 PM. He was 22 inches long, 9 lbs. 4 oz., and instantly became the center of our universe from which all things must revolve : )

On July 20, we learned that we were to become parents around the middle of March of 2000 (due date 3/16/2000). After learning about our upcoming parenthood, Jo took a two hour long class to answer some of her questions back on August 12, routinely visited her doctor, and we attended childbirth classes a few weeks before Wolfy was born.

Through the use of modern technology (an ultrasound picture) we learned in October Wolfy was a boy. We had names picked out for a girl or boy, but didn't tell everyone right away because we wanted Wolfy's name to be a surprise. Roland called his Uncle Wolfram to tell him the good news (We'd had a baby boy and named him after him.) minutes after Wolfy's birth. Uncle Wolfram was bursting with happiness, because our good news wasn't the only good news that day. Uncle Wolfram's daughter, named after Roland's mother, had just given birth to a little girl the same day : )
